I attended the National Achievers Congress Singapore 2013 from 10-12 May and would like to do some sharings on the event, speakers and my learnings. The experience was great as the VIP seat offered me a closer experience, near to the speakers, sitting amongst motivated participants and meeting new friends in the VIP lounge.
I took some notes during the 3 days and plan to compile a summary of the key points and learnings from some speakers. Do sign up to this website and be informed when the summary is ready for you.
Below are some basic information on the Day 1 speakers.
Takafumi Horie
Mr Takafumi Horie founded and run his very profitable internet services firm Livedoor Co. He challenged traditional Japanese business practices and even ran for political office. He has around 1 million followers on Twitter. His speed of rise to fame and succcess was matched by his downfall when he was convicted to jail due to fraud. He lost 99% of his assets and yet managed to bounce back and has great dreams for the future as well.
Cheri Tree
Cheri Hill shared that she took her $72,000 yearly salary to over $500,000 in 12 months and over $1 million in 3 years. She is a trainer in sales and sales training systems. Cheri developed a B.A.N.K. sales training system which utilises customer profiling to customise the communication approach and style towards the customer.
Courtney Smith
Courtney Smith is a trader, author, money manager, educator, and speaker. He proudly claims to be the only person in history to have a high ranked mutual fund, stock picking newsletter, futures newsletter, and hedge fund. He is the author of seven books and has appeared on over 1000 TV shows and spoken at over 100 events.
Ewen Chia
Ewen Chia came from a sales and marketing background, working at a job, struggling just to make ends meet, and saddled with credit card debt. In his pursuit to earn extra income, he started learning and experimenting with an internet business in 1997.
After years of perseverance, he started making real money online and he hasn’t stopped since. As a trainer on internet marketing, his teaches people on building online businesses.
Tommy Salvatore
Tommy Salvatore is well versed in Tax Lien and Tax Deed investing. He started off re-modelling homes and progressed to being a real estate investor. Through Tax Lien Certificates and Tax Deed investing, he has acquired tax lien and properties in the United States.
